For chief operating officers

Turn your team's best AI work into company IP.

Some of your people have built powerful agents you can't see. Some are using personal accounts and tools nobody approved. Some barely use AI beyond a quick question. Sonsara shows you all of it, captures the work worth keeping as company agents, and makes sure they stay when people leave.

78% of people who use AI at work bring their own tools. At small and mid-sized companies it's 80%.

39% of organisations see any effect on profit from AI, even though 88% now use it regularly somewhere in the business.

The real picture

AI use in your company is uneven, and mostly invisible.

Every team has the same three groups. The gap between them is time saved, risk taken, and know-how that belongs to one person instead of the business.

01 · Power users

Building agents you can't see.

A few people have wired AI into their real work: agents that reconcile, report and follow up. It's some of the most valuable work in the company, and it lives in their personal setup.

02 · Shadow users

On personal accounts and unsanctioned tools.

Others paste company data into personal ChatGPT accounts, browser agents and free tools nobody approved. It saves them time, and nobody knows where the data goes.

03 · Light users

A quick question, a summary, or nothing at all.

Most people use AI for the odd question or summary, or not at all. They do by hand the same job a colleague has already automated.

Why it matters

Lots of AI use. Very little of it shows up in the numbers.

The gains stay inside individual setups. Until the work is shared, owned and run properly, the business carries the risk and gets little of the return.

Value

Stuck with one person.

The agent that saves your best analyst a day a week saves nobody else anything. The rest of the team still does that job by hand.

Continuity

Gone when they go.

Personal accounts, saved prompts and automations on someone's own login leave with them. So does the know-how of how the job really runs.

Risk

Nothing to show when asked.

Customers, auditors and insurers now ask how AI is used and controlled. Work on personal tools leaves no record to point to.

What you get

See it. Capture it. Keep it.

Sonsara gives you the full picture of how each team uses AI, then turns the best of what your power users built into agents the whole company owns.

  • See it. Who's building agents, who's on personal accounts and unsanctioned tools, and who isn't using AI yet, department by department.
  • Capture it. The valuable work is interviewed, rebuilt and tested as company agents, so it becomes company IP instead of one person's shortcut.
  • Share it. The light users get the same agents their colleagues built, in Slack, Teams, Claude or ChatGPT.
  • Keep it. Agents run on company accounts with a written spec and named owners. When someone leaves, their agents don't leave with them.

You get → Time saved and spend, per agent

Audit-ready

Pass the AI questions in your next audit.

ISO 27001, ISO 42001 and SOC 2 reviews now ask how AI is used and controlled. Company agents keep the record as they run, so the answer is an export, not a scramble. Your CISO signs off without becoming the bottleneck.

  • Every run, tool call, change, policy block and access grant, with who and which data
  • A test run and a named approver behind every version that went live
  • Company-held credentials, scoped to what each agent needs
  • Run history kept 30 days, and exportable whenever an auditor asks

FAQ

What COOs ask us.

How much of my teams' time does this take?+

Very little. Detection works from logs your systems already keep. The only people we ask for time are the ones behind the workflows worth keeping, for a short voice or chat interview each.

Will my people feel watched?+

Detection reads activity, not what anyone types, and people are pseudonymised. When we find something, the outcome is an offer of a better, supported agent for the job, not a reprimand. That matters: people who expect to be told off simply hide what they use.

How do I know an agent is worth it?+

Every agent shows how often it runs, an estimate of the time it saves, and what it costs to run. You can see which ones earn their place.

What happens when someone who built a workflow leaves?+

Nothing breaks. Company agents run on company accounts, with owners and a written spec, so the work stays with the business.

Does this make us ISO 42001 or SOC 2 compliant?+

Sonsara supports the work and supplies evidence for it: the activity log, version approvals, access records and an inventory of AI tools and agents. Certification is between you and your auditor, who decides what evidence they accept.
